Ingredients
1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp dried dill
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried parsley
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp ranch seasoning mix (alcohol-free)
2 cups non-dairy heavy cream or whole milk
1 tbsp all-purpose flour (optional for thickening)
Chopped fresh chives or green onions (optional for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
Pat chicken dry and season both sides with garlic powder, onion powder, dill, oregano, parsley, salt, and pepper
Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat
Sear chicken thighs for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown
Sprinkle ranch seasoning and flour (if using) directly into the skillet and stir
Pour in heavy cream or milk and stir to combine
Bring to a simmer, then transfer to oven
Bake for 15-20 minutes until sauce is thickened and chicken is fully cooked
Top with garnishes before serving
Notes
Use chicken breasts as a substitute, but reduce bake time to 10-12 minutes to prevent drying.
Leftovers keep in airtight containers for 3-4 days.
For a vegan option, swap chicken with grilled portobello mushrooms or tofu.
