Ingredients
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
12 oz spaghetti or linguine
5 tbsp butter
5 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp honey
2 tbsp sriracha
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Lemon wedges (optional for garnish)
Fresh parsley (optional for garnish)
Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to package instructions, 8-10 minutes until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, melt 5 tbsp butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
Add peeled and deveined shrimp to the skillet. Cook until just pink and almost cooked through, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
Stir in honey, sriracha, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until shrimp are completely cooked and the sauce is glossy.
Toss cooked pasta into the skillet with the shrimp mixture. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the pasta is fully coated in the garlic butter sauce.
Serve immediately with a squeeze of lemon and a sprinkle of fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
For a dairy-free version, use a high-quality plant-based butter.
