Description
A quick and bold fusion of creamy Italian Alfredo sauce with smoky Cajun-spiced chicken. This weeknight staple is rich, satisfying, and loaded with flavor, perfect for family dinners or cozy meals.
Ingredients
2 boneless chicken breasts
8 oz fettuccine pasta
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1 tsp smoked paprika
Salt and black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley or green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
While pasta cooks, season chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning and smoked paprika. Heat butter in a skillet over medium-high heat, cook chicken 5-6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Sear garlic in the same skillet for 30 seconds.
In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, hot cream, minced garlic, and butter. Stir in cooked chicken and add Parmesan cheese gradually, mixing until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Serve immediately, garnished with parsley or green onions if desired.
Notes
Substitute heavy cream with whole milk + 1 tbsp cornstarch for a lighter version.
Use linguine or tagliatelle if fettuccine is unavailable.
Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste; remove any paprika for a stricter halal alternative.
