A rich, creamy, and protein-packed dish featuring bold Cajun flavors paired with aromatic garlic rice.
Ingredients
500 g chicken breast
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil (for sauce)
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup (240 ml) low-fat cream
1/2 cup (120 ml) chicken broth
1/2 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
1/4 teaspoon chili flakes
1/4 cup (30 g) parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon parsley
1 cup (200 g) rice
2 cups (480 ml) water or broth
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
Heat oil and cook chicken until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
Sauté garlic, add broth, then cream and seasoning. Simmer until thickened.
Stir in parmesan and return chicken to the pan. Coat with sauce.
Cook rice with garlic, oil, and liquid until tender.
Serve chicken over garlic rice and garnish with parsley.
Notes
Adjust spice level to taste. Add extra cream for a milder sauce or chili flakes for more heat. Store leftovers in airtight containers for up to 4 days.
