Creamy, cheesy shredded chicken wrapped in golden braided dough and baked until bubbly and crisp. A comforting family favorite perfect for dinner or entertaining.
Ingredients
3 cups cooked shredded chicken
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
½ cup sour cream
1 cup mozzarella cheese
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese
¼ cup Parmesan cheese
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried parsley
½ teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
3 green onions sliced
4 cooked turkey bacon slices, crumbled (optional)
2 tubes refrigerated pizza dough
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Extra Parmesan for topping
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F and line baking sheet with parchment.
Mix chicken, cream cheese, sour cream, mozzarella, cheddar, Parmesan, seasonings, onions, and turkey bacon.
Roll dough into rectangle and place filling down center.
Cut strips along sides and braid over filling.
Brush with butter mixture and sprinkle with Parmesan.
Bake 25–30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
Rest 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Rotisserie chicken works wonderfully.
Do not overfill or dough may split.
Great for making ahead.
Reheat leftovers in oven for best texture.
