A rich, garlicky, and smoky one-pan chicken dish with a silky butter sauce. Quick, flavorful, and perfect for busy weeknights or cozy family meals.
Ingredients
2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
4 tbsp unsalted butter
2 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic (minced)+1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp smoked paprika (or regular paprika)
1/2 tsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup chicken broth (optional)
1/4 cup heavy cream (optional)
1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
Pound chicken breasts to 1/2-inch thickness
Melt 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium heat
Sear chicken 5-7 minutes per side until golden
Remove chicken and set aside
In same skillet, melt remaining 3 tbsp butter, sauté garlic 1 minute
Add onion powder, paprika, parsley, salt, and pepper
Sprinkle spice mix over chicken
Return chicken to skillet, add 2 tsp broth per cup of chicken
Cook 5 minutes until fully heated
Stir in 1/4 cup heavy cream and 1 tbsp lemon juice
Simmer 2 minutes
Garnish with parsley
Notes
Substitute chicken thighs for juicier meat
Use regular paprika if smoked is unavailable
Add cooked rice or crusty bread for serving
Skip cream/lemon for lower calories
