Ingredients
2 boneless chicken breasts
14.2 oz refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 cup salsa
2 tbsp taco seasoning
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Diced avocado (optional)
Fresh cilantro (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
Cook and shred the chicken breasts
In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, salsa, taco seasoning, and half the cheese
Unroll the crescent dough, pressing seams together to form a circle
Place chicken mixture in the center of the dough
Sprinkle remaining cheese on top
Fold the dough edge over the filling to form a ring, sealing edges with a fork
Brush the top with water and press the dough to shape a circular ring
Bake for 18-22 minutes until golden brown
Top with avocado and cilantro before serving

For added flavor, mix in diced bell peppers or jalapeños
