Description
A delicious and crunchy appetizer perfect for gatherings, filled with seasoned chicken and melted cheese.
Ingredients
2 cups cooked shredded chicken (300 g)
1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)
1 small onion, chopped (100 g)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon cumin (5 g)
1 teaspoon paprika (5 g)
½ teaspoon chili powder (2 g)
½ teaspoon salt (2 g)
¼ teaspoon black pepper (1 g)
½ cup tomato sauce (120 ml)
1 cup shredded cheese (120 g)
12 small tortillas
2 cups vegetable oil (500 ml) or 2 tablespoons olive oil (30 ml)
Instructions
Heat oil in a pan and sauté onion until soft, then add garlic.
Stir in shredded chicken and spices, mix well.
Add tomato sauce and cook until slightly thick.
Remove from heat and mix in cheese.
Fill tortillas with mixture and roll tightly.
Fry in hot oil until golden or bake at 200°C (400°F) for 15–20 minutes.
Serve warm with dips.
Notes
Warm tortillas before rolling to prevent cracking. Bake for a lighter version or fry for extra crispiness. Adjust spices according to taste preference.
