Ingredients
1 kg potatoes (2.2 lbs), peeled and chopped
60 g butter (4 tablespoons)
120 ml milk (1/2 cup)
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
500 g chicken breast (1 lb), diced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 small onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
500 ml chicken broth (2 cups)
120 ml milk (1/2 cup)
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon thyme
Instructions
Boil potatoes until tender, then mash with butter, milk, salt, and pepper.
Cook diced chicken in olive oil until fully cooked, then set aside.
Sauté onion and garlic in the same pan.
Stir in flour and cook for 2 minutes.
Gradually add chicken broth and milk, stirring until thickened.
Return chicken to the pan and season with spices. Simmer until gravy thickens.
Serve gravy over mashed potatoes.

Use warm milk for smoother mashed potatoes.
Adjust gravy thickness with additional broth if needed.
