Description
A silky, garlicky, and creamy pasta dish with tender chicken, fettuccine, and a rich Parmesan-infused sauce. This restaurant-quality meal is easy to make in 30 minutes, perfect for cozy dinners or busy weeknights.
Ingredients
2 boneless chicken breasts
12 oz fettuccine pasta
1.5 cups heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
4 garlic cloves, minced
3 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp nutmeg
Instructions
Cook fettuccine according to package instructions in salted water; drain.
Pat chicken breasts dry and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook in a pan over medium-high heat until golden and cooked through (6-8 minutes), then slice.
In a large pan, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Deglaze with heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
Stir in Parmesan, Italian seasoning, nutmeg, and pepper until smooth and thickened. Adjust salt if needed.
Combine cooked pasta and chicken in the pan with the sauce. Toss until evenly coated. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
Use fresh Parmesan for the best melt and flavor. Half-and-half can substitute heavy cream for a lighter version. For a crisp texture, toss cooked pasta with a bit of olive oil before adding the sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
